My name is Mikayla White!
I'mĀ a recent graduate of Shenandoah University Conservatory with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Theatre Design and Production, with an emphasis in Sound Design and Reinforcement. I specialize in sound design, mixing, video editing, audio editing, and graphic design. My passion for sound designĀ began when I was a kid. I would take random videos, add silly music and sound effects, then send them to my friends to make them laugh!Ā I had a lot of fun making these videosĀ and since then my passion for sound design continued to grow and flourish.Ā During my time at Shenandoah University, I worked in many theatrical sound roles, including Sound Designer, Audio Engineer, and Audio Supervisor.Ā I primarily use Pro Tools and Logic Pro for my sound design and mixing work. For video editing, I use CapCut, and for graphic design, IĀ use Canva.Ā In addition to theatre, I also worked as a Video Editor for the Shenandoah Office of Marketing and Communications and a Social Media Manager/Peer Advocate for the Mosaic Center for Diversity. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to demonstrate my diverse skill set and continue increasing my knowledge in these areas!Ā
